Welcome to GeneIndexer
GeneIndexer is the only tool currently available that classifies and prioritizes genes based on functional information in the biomedical literature. It saves investigators many hours of manual literature analysis. At the heart of GeneIndexer is a patent-pending gene retrieval and ranking algorithm that mines the literature for explicit and implicit relationships. Unlike other text-mining tools, GeneIndexer is very robust and can be applied to thousands of genes at once.

GeneIndexer Features
Contains Medline abstracts for over 21,000 mammalian genes
Gene ranking based on explicit and implicit relationships to free text queries such as phenotypes, clinical correlates, molecular and cellular processes, and many other biological concepts
Hierarchical clustering identifies genes that are functionally related
